Welcome to Relaxsista, That’s Life!

Wow, My life took a major shift. It changed from finishing up school during a pandemic and working full-time to getting a divorce graduating and moving back in with my parents. Yeah, not good memories. So, it’s time to start over.

I am a woman of many roles. I write, paint, cook, teach and coach from the heart. I take failures as lessons that are learned and goals to build on. I went from putting others first to reflecting on myself and taking better care of myself. During the pandemic, I started to think about where I was, who I am becoming and where I want to go. I started to change for the better and realized those around me did not support my growth and didn’t care. My family supports me and my decisions. They were the biggest supporters when I was at my lowest and always are there for me.

It was time for a change. I moved back in with my parents and got a divorce. I lost about 40 pounds and became healthier. I realized the weight was stress. I was showing others a shiny and polished appearance and not how I truly felt. My body, mind, and soul was tired and done. I was tired of putting on that front and ready to show the world.

Looking back, my biggest and best change in my life was to step out on faith and accepting what path God was sending me. It made me look at myself and my worth. I saw myself growing and things started to happen for me. Growth is good for the body and the soul, but an even better mindset will turn your life around and help you explore new opportunities.
