October has been a month of reflection for me. As the leaves change and the days grow cooler, I’ve been thinking about the changes I want to see in my own life. Some things are coming together, while others are still uncertain. Through it all, I’m learning to give myself grace and trust that I can take the next step without having every answer.
This month, my manifestations have centered on taking better care of myself, finding peace, strengthening my finances, and making room for a future that feels right for me.
I am making my health a priority
For a long time, I’ve been used to showing up for everyone else. Between work, responsibilities, and everyday life, it can be easy to put my own needs on the back burner. But lately, my body has reminded me that it needs attention, too.
I’m manifesting better health by listening to my body, seeking care when I need it, and giving myself permission to rest. I’m proud of myself for exploring strength training and finding ways to move, and I’m also learning that slowing down is part of taking care of myself.
I want to feel strong, healthy, and energized—not because I need to prove anything, but because I deserve to feel good in my own body.
I am choosing peace over pressure
There always seems to be another deadline, another task, or another person who needs something. I care deeply about my work and the people around me, but I’m learning that I don’t have to carry everything at once.
This October, I’m making room for quieter moments, deeper breaths, and the freedom to pause. I’m reminding myself that rest is not something I have to earn after everything is finished. It is something I need along the way.
I may not be able to control everything happening around me, but I can work toward creating more peace in how I respond and how I care for myself.
I am trusting myself with my next chapter
I’ve been thinking about my career, my responsibilities, and what I want my future to look like. Some decisions haven’t been easy, especially when finances and health insurance are part of the picture. I’m learning that it’s okay to pause and reconsider when I need more time.
I’m manifesting opportunities that value my experience, allow me to continue making a difference, and give me room to breathe. I want work that supports my life and well-being while allowing me to use the skills I’ve built in education, leadership, technology, and helping others.
For now, I’m taking things one step at a time and trusting that thoughtful decisions still count as progress.
I am building financial stability
Financial peace is also part of what I’m working toward. I want to feel more secure, be prepared for unexpected moments, and continue building toward the life I envision for myself.
I know that financial growth may happen gradually. It can begin with looking honestly at where I am, making a plan, and celebrating the small steps along the way. I’m giving myself permission to start where I am and keep moving forward.
I am making room for joy
October hasn’t just been about responsibilities and decisions. I’ve also been reminded how good it feels to enjoy life: connecting with people, celebrating community, and making time for experiences that bring me peace.
Walking in the TSU Homecoming parade as a teacher and seeing fellow alumni along the way was a reminder of how meaningful those moments can be. And after experiencing the calm of a sound bath, I was reminded that relaxation can be something I intentionally make space for.
I’m manifesting more moments of laughter, connection, rest, and joy. I don’t want to wait until everything is perfect to enjoy my life.
My October commitment
As this month comes to a close, I’m carrying these reminders with me:
- My health deserves my attention.
- I can make thoughtful decisions at my own pace.
- I am capable of creating more stability in my life.
- I deserve opportunities that support my growth and well-being.
- I can care for others while caring for myself, too.
- There is still room for joy, even in uncertain seasons.
My October manifestations are about more than wishing for change. They’re about recognizing what I need, taking small steps toward it, and giving myself grace as I grow.
I may not have everything figured out, but I’m listening, learning, and moving forward. And for this season of my life, that is enough. 💕
